Travis Kelce’s response to inquiries about his relationship with girlfriend Taylor Swift was subtly humorous. During a sketch at the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend charity event in Kansas City, Jason Sudeikis playfully asked Kelce when he would “make an honest woman” out of Swift. Kelce, sitting across from Sudeikis, laughed and smiled at the joke.
Sudeikis continued the banter, suggesting that Taylor no longer needed to work, and playfully referencing Harrison Butker’s graduation speech about women choosing homemaking. Kelce responded sarcastically, saying, “Guys, you’re really pushing it.”
Despite their playful interactions, Kelce and Swift are not currently planning a wedding. According to an insider, Travis takes marriage seriously and wants to carefully consider such a significant step. Although he cares deeply for Swift, he isn’t ready to propose just yet.
The couple has been dating since the summer of 2023, but they still have much to learn about each other. While engagement rumors have circulated due to Swift’s songs about their romance and their time together on tour, Kelce and Swift are taking their relationship one step at a time.
Kelce praised Swift’s live performances during her European Eras Tour, emphasizing that her shows are truly remarkable.
