Vanna White Might Leave "Wheel of Fortune" After Pat Sajak's Retirement

Vanna White might be leaving "Wheel of Fortune" following the departure of longtime host Pat Sajak, as she reportedly doesn’t connect well with the new host, Ryan Seacrest.

The popular game show "Wheel of Fortune" recently made headlines with Pat Sajak's retirement, an event that drew 11 million viewers, the highest in four years.

After Sajak's departure, Vanna White is considering leaving the show too. According to, White feels she doesn’t "jibe" with her new co-host Ryan Seacrest, who took over from Sajak after 41 seasons in June.

Following Sajak's retirement, White negotiated a salary increase and signed a contract extension to stay on the show until the 2025-2026 season.

White's Contract and Future Plans:

Despite the tough negotiations with Sony executives, she secured a raise from her previous $3 million salary. However, sources reveal that White is contemplating leaving the show sooner than her contract allows, as she finds it challenging to continue without Sajak.

“Vanna is retiring from the show when her contract ends, but there is a part of her that wants to walk away sooner. It is just so difficult to do this without Pat,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Ryan Seacrest will officially take over as host in the upcoming 42nd season. While there have been rumors about a lack of chemistry between Seacrest and White, a source told The Post that these claims are false.

Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White's On-Screen Chemistry:

“There is absolutely no truth to this story. Ryan and Vanna have started working together and have been having a lovely time on set,” said the source.

Fans of the show took to social media to express their thoughts on the potential departure of Vanna White. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “Well, this is a surprise.

Reactions from Fans:

We all knew Pat Sajak is leaving and now Vanna White is thinking the same. There's one thing left: Wheel of Fortune has a new host, Ryan Seacrest, but who will be the new co-host and model? We don't know yet.”
